A meticulously restored old fisherman’s stone house. 

Blue is the color of Greece, the color of our flag, the color of the Aegean, the color of all the Greek islands… 

In the old days when most of the men from the islands went to make a living from the sea, their women would wait anxiously for their return. 

To ward of the evil spirits they would paint the doors of their homes blue as they believed that this color would protect them from the evil eye and bring their husbands back safely to them.
